Aspire Channel Swim 2024

9th September to 2nd December

Whether you’re looking to get fit, find a new challenge or take part in an activity that the whole family can get involved in, the Aspire Channel Swim is the swimming event for you! For 25 years our swimmers have been taking on the original Channel Challenge and swimming 22 miles over 12 weeks to support people with Spinal Cord Injury.

The Aspire Channel Swim is FREE to sign up to and you can swim on your own or in a team with family, friends, classmates or colleagues. Take on the 22 miles in your local pool, in your own time over 12 weeks and help change the lives of people paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury.

You can complete the challenge wherever and whenever you like, and take on the whole 22 miles, share the distance with your friends and family, or even swim to France and back!

Teen Cardio

Our Teen Cardio sessions are supervised cardio sessions for those aged 12 - 16 years.
Our Pool

Our pool is 25 metres long and is maintained between 30-32 degrees, making it ideal for the very young, old or those with conditions that are temperature sensitive. It has full ramped access, removing the need for hoists for wheelchair users.
Swimming Lessons

At Aspire we provide a calm and relaxed environment where anyone can learn to swim or improve their technique. All our swimming instructors are qualified to Swim England standard or equivalent.
Aqua Classes

Our Aqua Classes are water based, low impact group exercise classes that are ideal for all fitness and experience levels. We offer aqua sessions to help tone muscles, burn fat and also specialist pool based exercise for disabled customers.
Partnerships

Aspire Leisure Centre are committed to supporting local community groups in support of providing inclusive leisure activities for everybody. We are proud to partner with a number of organisations including Candoco Dance Company, London Titans and Get Active Harrow.
