Flexible hourly sessions with our qualified instructors will assist with rehabilitation and help you to achieve your general fitness goals. Functional Electrical Stimulation Bike Aspire is the only leisure centre we know of that provides a Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Bike as part of our gym equipment. The FES bike allows you to stimulate your core leg muscles, even if you have lost some or all voluntary control of them. The FES bike works by delivering a small electrical current through sticky pads placed on the skin to stimulate the nerves. Standing Frame This equipment can be used by anyone who relies on the use of a wheelchair for mobility. The standing frame provides alternative positioning to sitting in a wheelchair by supporting the person in a standing position. This helps to create a wider variety of ways to exercise for disabled people. For more information on any of our services please contact the fitness team on 020 8420 6719 or email [email protected].
