Membership Terms and Conditions Terms and conditions This agreement is made between Aspire Leisure Centre and the member, who by signing this application form agrees to abide by the following rules and regulations: The following terms and conditions apply to ALL members including Premier, Centre Card, Students and GP Referrals. Aspire agrees to provide the use of facilities and services during opening times at Aspire Leisure Centre for the membership period stated. However, occasionally due to special events or circumstances out of our control, facilities and equipment may be unavailable or classes cancelled. The exercise programme and facilities in the centre are designed with the members safety in mind, but such activities and facilities are used entirely at members own risk. We try to ensure that the facilities in the centre are of the highest quality and meticulous attention is paid to maintenance, but if any breakdown should occur this would not give the member the right of redness or action against the centre, its trustees or employees. Lockers are provided for clothes and valuables, so it is agreed the centre is not responsible for damage or loss of property on the premises. The member agrees the right to observe membership rules designed for the mutual benefit of all the members. The centre reserves the right to withdraw all membership rights from any member, without reimbursement, who after receiving due warning break the rules or whose conduct is injurious to interests of the centre or other members. The centre reserves the right to assign its rights under this agreement. The signatory confirms that he/she is over 16 years of age and that, having understood the terms of agreement, agrees and abides by them. The membership shall begin on the agreed date as stated on this application form and will continue if the member continues to pay the relevant fees, either annually or via direct debit. Annual memberships must be paid in full upon joining. A 14 day cooling period will be given on Annual memberships, after which the initial fee will not be refundable. A joining fee will be charged if renewal is not complete one month after expiry. If paying by direct debit, you will be required to make a pro rata payment upon joining to cover the membership from the date you join until the date of your first direct debit. If paying by direct debit a minimum term of one direct debit must be adhered to. By signing this agreement you agree to honour this commitment. Direct debit payments can only be deducted from one account. You may only have access to Aspire Leisure Centres facilities if all your payments are up to date and the membership is not in arrears. Aspire Leisure Centre must give at least 30 days notice, in writing of any changes to price to direct debit memberships and any changes to the terms and conditions of membership. You agree to notify Aspire Leisure Centre of any changes to member's details provided. Linked members to the account holder must reside at the same address. Family memberships are only available for 2 adults over the age of 16 and up to 2 children under the age of 16. Once a member reaches the age of 16, they will be removed off the membership and you will be informed of this change. Direct debit payers must give at least one months notice to cancel a membership, in writing via email or on a cancellation form. Upon cancelling, all booking privileges will be terminated from the date the member has paid up to. Members may freeze their membership for a minimum of one month at a cost of £5.00 per month and a maximum of 3 months, providing 14 days notice is given in writing via email or on a freeze form. Freezing cannot be done retrospectively. Proof of Disability, corporate and student status will need to be provided at time of joining and will be subject to review each time the membership is renewed. Premier members may book classes 10 days in advance and Centre card members 7 days in advance. Should a member fail to attend a booked class, then a £2.00 charge will be incurred. Further bookings will then be restricted until payment is made. 1 hour notice is required to cancel a class. No persons under the age of 16 years can attend a group exercise class unless advertised. Carer membership is only valid when accompanying the disabled member. All memberships are subject to annual review.
