Courses/Stages

Ducklings: 3–5-year-old beginners (Teacher will be in the water)

Stage 1: 5–7-year-old beginners or younger swimmers with a lot of confidence (Teacher will be in the water)

Stage 2: Children who are starting to swim with no help from floats and have no trouble putting their face in the water. This stage is still in the shallow end, but teachers tend to take them to the deep end to build their confidence further (Teacher will be in the water)

Stage 3: For swimmers who can swim 5 metres on their front and back in deep water without help from floating aids or teacher support. This stage starts developing stroke technique.

Stage 4: For swimmers who can swim 10 meters on their front and back in deep water without help from floating aids or teacher support. This stage starts to work more on the kick technique for all 4 strokes.

Stage 5: For swimmers who can swim 10 meters on their front and back in deep water without help from floating aids or teacher support. This stage starts to work more on the full stroke of all 4 strokes with arms and legs.

Breaststroke & Butterfly: These courses are designed to work on the correct body position and leg kick as well as breathing and timing for the more advanced swimmer. Ideal for stages 5 to 7. Stage 4’s may also benefit from these as well.
