Swimming Lessons Easter 2022 Term Enrolment Information The current term will run from Tuesday 19th April - Saturday 23rd July. *Please note we are extremely busy and have very limited spaces for lessons this term.Our current availability is:Stage 4Thursdays at 4:50pmSaturdays at 5:20pmStage 5Mondays at 4pmStage 7 Saturdays at 11:20am and 4:20pmCurrently all other classes are fully booked. Please do not send repeat emails, we will respond as soon as we can.Please be aware due to the large number of enquiries we receive we work on a first come first serve basis so do not hold a waiting list. At Aspire Leisure Centre we provide a calm and relaxed environment where anyone can learn to swim or improve their technique. We have a variety of classes and group sessions for all ages, ranging from babies to adults. We also provide group and one to one swimming lessons for disabled adults and children in our wheelchair accessible swimming pool. All of our swimming instructors are qualified to Swim England standard, or equivalent, so you can feel secure in the knowledge that pupils are in safe hands and learning from the experts. Children's swimming lessons Level Age Session Parent and Baby 6 months - walking Water confidence with action songs Parent and Toddler Walking - 3 years Movement on front and back with action songs Ducklings 3 years + Water confidence, forward and backward propulsion and floating Stages 1-7 Delivered under the Swim England plan for teaching swimming Stages 8-10 Once swimmers have reached stage 8 they have the option to continue to pre-competition swimming, or other Swim England badges Bridging Juniors 8-12 Years Bridging classes are aimed to children with a disability. They need to be able to swim a minimum of 25 meters on their front and back and be able to take clear instruction in a group lesson. Bridging Seniors 12-18 Years Bridging classes are aimed to children with a disability. They need to be able to swim continuous lengths and have knowledge or all 4 strokes.
