Dear member

We are writing to give you a further update on the work taking place in the swimming pool.

2 weeks ago we became aware of tiles lifting in the deep end of the pool. We immediately contacted a specialist diving company to inspect and  survey the damage and they then started work on Friday and they were expected to hand the pool back by the end of this week.

Over the weekend the tiles in the shallow end also started to lift and this has meant that the work is going to take longer to complete.

At the moment we anticipate not being able to open until Monday 26th April. The work could be finished sooner, but it could also take longer.

We have therefore removed all booking slots for the moment and will write to you again when we have a better idea of opening dates. If you have recently asked us to un-freeze your membership for swimming, we will set your membership back to frozen.

The whole team at Aspire are obviously deeply saddened that we cannot open and we will be working hard to make sure everything is ready for you when we can open.

In the meantime, we are still running virtual fitness classes, the gym us open and badminton can be booked for people from the same household. The Basilian café is also open for take-away service.

Thank you for your patience and we hope to see you soon.
