Dear members

Following Monday’s announcement, we are waiting for final confirmation for the relaxing of restrictions next Monday, ready for Monday 19th July.

Once this announcement has been made, we will then need to wait for the updated leisure industry guidance before making any changes.

We anticipate that the following changes should be able to go ahead:

-Indoor football
-Indoor basketball
-Badminton Groups of more than 6
-Increased numbers in group exercise classes

*Zoom classes to continue
-Increased numbers in the gym
-Increased numbers in the pool
-Birthday parties (subject to times)
-Lockers could be used

Its important to say that the charity is still recovering from the pandemic and not all services and facilities will return as they were pre-Covid straight away. Some of our staff will remain on furlough and flexi-furlough whilst our membership numbers are still low. We will still want to keep some of the measures in place for the time being such as:

-Wearing masks in communal areas

-Keep left in corridors

-Entry and Exit points

-Hand sanitising stations

-Temperature checks

*As requested by the RNOH

-Screens at reception and café

-Cashless payment option only

Please do complete the booking survey which can be found on the app and website as we are due to review this next week and will play an important part of how we manage bookings going forward.

Overall, we want to make sure that all of you feel safe when using the centre and there needs to be a fine balance between increasing capacity, maintaining the level of cleaning and keeping everyone happy and confident in using our wonderful facility.

Thank you

Dean Tearle
